Well, we've been doing plenty of testing within the past month and the FlipSquare decided it's finally time to activate the payment system. Initially, we will be using Paypal as our solution, but may be moving toward a more reputable and flexible solution in the future like SecurePay or Auth.net.

What does this mean for you? It means that all listings are no longer free. Don't let that scare you away, though. We're still very competitively priced and offer a great range of deals.

Since we're credit-based, you can buy as little or as much as you need. The more you buy, the more you save. Here is our current pricing schema for purchasing site credit:

  1. Buy 5 credits for $5
  2. Buy 10 credits for $10
  3. Buy 20 credits for $19
  4. Buy 50 credits for $46
  5. Buy 100 credits for $90
  6. Buy 250 credits for $212
  7. Buy 500 credits for $400
  8. Buy 1,000 credits for $750

Obviously, these numbers will be finessed over time according to your feedback, but we feel this is a great starting point and offers a great amount of flexibility when it comes to topping up your account.

Right now, we have a set price for all categories of listings, but this might be changing in the near future. Right now our listing packages are as follows:

Small Potatoes for 5 Credits:

Same as our basic package, but with a lower price cap. This one is meant for power users who sell cheap domains in bulk.

  1. Duration of 7 days
  2. Price cap of $100
  3. Unlimited amount of bids

Basic for 20 Credits:

Our basic package that should give you all you need to put up a quick all-purpose listing.

  1. Duration of 10 days
  2. Price cap of $500
  3. Unlimited amount of bids

Plus for 30 Credits:

Our basic package that should give you all you need to put up a quick all-purpose listing.

  1. Duration of 20 days
  2. Price cap of $5,000
  3. Unlimited amount of bids
  4. Title will be highlighted for extra exposure

Premium for 40 Credits:

Our basic package that should give you all you need to put up a quick all-purpose listing.

  1. Duration of 30 days
  2. Unlimited price cap
  3. Unlimited amount of bids
  4. Title will be highlighted for extra exposure
  5. Appears in our sidebar on just about every visible page on the site

We are currently considering different pricing packages per category (domain listings v.s. established sites), but you probably won't see that until the next milestone release. That is, unless you guy complain loud enough about having it. ;)

This move also means that all credit you accrued for free during the beta test will be removed. But, as a thank you for all our beta testers, you will be receiving 75 FREE credits!
